The Monthly Income Machine
Conforming Credit Spread
An Optional SaferTrader Subscription Service For Currently Registered Owners of “The Monthly Income Machine”
What is “The Monthly Income Machine?”
A strategy for generating recurring monthly income for conservative income investors.
A technique for identifying appropriate credit spread and iron condor limited risk option trades that meet Lee Finberg’s specific trade entry criteria risk control rule
It is the detailed “blueprint” for conservative investors seeking a monthly income stream. The book that lays it all out, in detail, is “The Monthly Income Machine.” It is used by conservative, risk-adverse income investors around the world.
Why Subscribe to the Screening Service if the book explains it all?
In point of fact, the Screening Service is not required to trade “The Monthly Income Machine” successfully.
The optional Screening Service is offered to the SaferTrader community of investors who – for about the cost of a daily cup of coffee – wish to avoid the several hours a month typically spent in identifying potential “conforming” trade candidates.
With this optional weekly subscription service, SaferTraders can simply review the list of trade candidates that currently conform to the “Machine” entry criteria as of Friday’s closing prices.
Although the investor can perform his own screening for conforming credit spread candidates, the Service may identify conforming spreads the investor might miss doing his own screening.
What are the “entry criteria” used that define a “conforming trade” credit spread candidate?”
The “Monthly Income Machine” requires that a potential credit spread trade meet specific criteria (fully described in the book) with respect to:
* underlying stock, index, or ETF must meet specific average daily trading volume minimum
* absence of intervening earnings report prior to option expiration
* credit spread strike prices a specific minimum distance from the
underlying stock, index, or ETF
* The distance-from-underlying requirement depends upon the general volatility in the market at the time of the re;port
* strike prices making up the credit spread (the short and the long
positions) must be a specific interval apart.
* credit spread must provide a specific minimum net premium (income) to the investor when the trade is initiated
* minimum mathematical probability (based on delta) of underlying
reaching strike price of the “short” option upon expiration
Subject to data reliability of the third-party data sources used, all Screening Service trades identified as “conforming” will conform to all “The Monthly Income Machine” trade entry requirements listed above as of the current Friday market close.
